About the project
Project Overview
The Digital Revolution Awards celebrate excellence in technology; I led the brand direction on their latest campaign for the 2025 season. My role involved managing the development and revamping of the existing visual identity including adjusting the logo, refining layouts, colourways, and typography, while maintaining continuity with previous years.
My Role
As design lead, I oversaw a multi-disciplinary design team, guiding both internal and external creatives. We restructured the website in collaboration with content colleagues to improve user navigation, and created more motion graphics for our social channels to drive deeper engagement with event content.
Creative Collaboration
I provided direction to the external video production agency responsible for filming the judging roundtables and live London event, ensuring that brand consistency was maintained across all media. I also worked with senior stakeholders to plan campaign activity and develop motion-led assets for social promotion.
Results
To improve efficiency and turnaround times for the 2025 campaign, we replaced the previous year’s approach of publishing individual judge announcements with grouped carousel posts. This change led to a 59% reduction in design resource, and quicker turnarounds on delivery. At the same time, we introduced a video-first approach for winner announcements, a change that paid off in engagement, with average reposts per post more than doubling year-on-year. The result was a campaign that maintained strong audience reach while optimising production effort, contributing to a 13% rise in ticket sales compared to the previous year.
